How to Turn an iPhone Screen Recording into a Long Screenshot

When a page would take a dozen screenshots, try this instead: start a screen recording, scroll through the content at a steady pace, and let PicTailor turn the recording into one long image.

Steps

  1. Start Screen Recording from Control Center.
  2. On the page you want, scroll slowly and steadily from top to bottom, then stop recording.
  3. Open PicTailor, select the recording (one at a time) and tap Screen Recording.
  4. Trim to the part you need and tap Next. PicTailor extracts the scrolling frames and stitches them into one image.
  5. Check the result, then save it to Photos or share it.

FAQ

It says "No enough scrolling frames found."

Usually the scroll was too fast or there was barely any scrolling. Scroll more slowly without long pauses and record again.

Recording or screenshots — which is better?

Recording is quicker for very long content. For the sharpest result, stitching screenshots is more reliable.

Is there a watermark?

No. Exported images have no watermark.
