How the App Works
One Day Closer helps you see your retirement as a daily progress on your home and lock screen. You set a retirement date (and optionally your birth date and the date you started working), and the app shows how much of your working journey is already behind you.
Data Stored on Your Device
- The retirement date, birth date, and work-start date you enter
- Your widget display preferences (such as showing the daily message, remaining days, or progress)
This information is stored only on your device and shared with the app's own widget through a private app group. It is not uploaded to us, there is no account or sign-in, and we cannot see it.
Diagnostic and Crash Data
The released app uses a third-party crash reporting service (Sentry) to collect crash reports and basic diagnostic information (such as app version, device model, and operating system) so we can fix problems and improve stability. This data is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Diagnostic data is processed only by the crash reporting and infrastructure providers that support app operations. All network transport uses standard HTTPS/TLS.
